EngineeringUK announced that Maddie Dinwoodie will join as Director of Engagement Programs in the summer.
Maddie joins the organization from UK Youth, where she is currently Program Director. With a background in the nonprofit sector, Maddie has 20 years of experience developing youth programs, developing partnerships and improving impact.
Commenting on her new role, Maddie said: “I am passionate about equal opportunities for all young people and climate change, so I am thrilled to be joining EngineeringUK at such a pivotal time for these two spaces. It will be a privilege to work with the team and partners to create the systemic change we need to see; inspiring more young people from all backgrounds in engineering and technology, tackling employment inequalities, and ultimately creating the diverse workforce needed to improve sustainability and achieve net zero.”
The Doctor. Hilary Leevers, Managing Director of EngineeringUK, said: “I am delighted to welcome Maddie to the team. Her experience in working in partnership to develop programs focused on engaging young people will be key to the success of our new 5 year strategy and she joins EngineeringUK at a very exciting time. I look forward to welcoming Maddie to the EngineeringUK executive team and working together to bring this strategy to life.”
